  In 2004 I got to see the presses. Very large and complicated to run. One of the people who helped run it said they could only run it half speed. They did not have the experience to run it full speed. A lot of money spent on nonsense. Still Totally ADD

  Remember the Revelation book?

  i recall when it was released ,that's when i was a drone, how excited i felt at the prospect of reading it and formulating ways to sell it at the homes in my area.. i thought, finally a book to explain the last book in the bible and indeed one that the churches seemed to want to leave alone!.

  i sold quite a few probably because of my enthusiasm and can still remember clearly the first day when i went knocking on doors with it ,and it's been decades since.. but over time it lost it's shine and my mind started to question the explanations in it due to the scene of other things being changed in the jw beliefs.. do you remember they flogged that book so many times in the book studies even when it was found to have "newer light " eclipsing it!.

  who else remembers the printed pages with the official corrections to insert into the book ,so many that the book collapsed to be of no relevance anymore really.....what an embarrassment!.

  Back in 1969 that first book got me through 10th grade world history with a A average. The world powers was a big thing in that book. Very accurate on the lineage of those powers. Still Totally ADD

  Earth Boxes - Has Anyone Here Tried to Use Them to Grow Vegetables

  with some extra time on my hands (putting it mildly), i decided to try planting some vegetables using these things called earth boxes.

  they are basically rectangular tubs with the soil suspended a few inches from the bottom using a screen and you put water into the bottom and you just add water through a tube to the bottom and the plants get their water from beneath instead of adding water from the top.

  then you put a plastic covering around the plants so that weeds don't grow.

  Magnum I lived in central FL for 40 years and garden most of those years. Most of the soil there is void of humus so it takes years to build up the soil for growing worth while vegetables. Yes you can use chemical fertilizers but does nothing for the soil. 12 inch deep boxes full of top soil, compost and shredded leaves makes a great beginning in growing vegetables. 2 ft. x 4ft. or 3 ft. x 4 ft. boxes are a great size to build and easy to maintain. Look into square foot gardening for getting more out of small spaces. Even with a large garden it's the only way to go.

  Finally most FL gardens start in mid January to early March and ending in early to late June. Hot peppers and egg plant can go will into summer. Then there is winter gardening where you can grow cool weather plants. There is more to it but I am sure you will figure it all out when you get to FL. Good luck to you and happy gardening.   china needs to pay for this one way or the other.

  Just like you Mr Mustard he has the freedom to speak how he feels. We are all trying to find our place in life. With all that is going on with the virus whether it was man made or natural we all are coping the best we can. Remember when we were in the cult and the borg would talk about the Spanish flu back in 1918/1919. How far away we felt it was in our lives but now 100 years later we are living through a pandemic hoping we will survive. Let's hope we as a human society can get a handle on it, if not there will be hell to pay. Be safe and take care. Still Totally ADD

  Bad food, bad ways of raising food and processing food is what China is guilty of. To tell you the truth I believed for many years the way we raise animals in factory farms in this country this would eventually happen. China just beat us to it.   Drink and Zoom, No Smell No Tell

  i’ve been at work with some jws over the last week.. i was conversing with one jw elder who mentioned having a couple of drinks after work, on the evening of a zoom meeting.

  he said he never drinks before a meeting, but did this occasion.

  this jw is not a heavy drinker, he’s very moderate compared to most.. this got me thinking about the other jws i use to associate with, who were actually drinkers, blokes that would drink 8+ beers, when it’s gone out comes the scotch or vodka.. i think they’ll be counting the sober bro’s on one hand at these meetings.

  When I was a elder we were instructed from time to time not to drink before a meeting. Mostly from the CO during their visit. There was one retired CO couple in our congregation who was will know at 4 PM everyday it was time for a couple of cocktails. I think the wife always had more than a couple. When I was a kid a DO couple would stay at my parents home on Sunday evening after the circuit assembly he would have a large tall glass of vodka which was equal to 1/2 one qt bottle. Drinking among the higher ups was always a problem. Still Totally ADD

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Dagney I find your story eerily the same thing I went through even having my first shot as a small pox shot because I was going to central America to work where the need was great. Very strange how the cult influenced our lives. Still Totally ADD

  My Girlfriend’s Beautiful Scottish Terrier Died Yesterday 😥

  mia was almost 8 and she was the sweetest dog who was my girlfriend’s constant companion.

  she had a wonderful disposition and was just a source of joy to everyone who would meet her.. she was brought to the vet on thursday and seemed to have digestive issues.

  the vet gave her medicine and said it would make her sleepy.

  So sorry for your loss. We lost our lab last July and it still hurts. Baby girl help me through alot of PTSD crap. Take care. Still Totally ADD
